Kristie Prinz spoke on “What Every Business Owner Needs to Know About the Legal Risks of Business Blogging” at the NAWBO Silicon Valley 5 o’clock seminar on Tuesday, November 17, 2009.  The presentation addressed a variety of issues, including how to avoid blog-related intellectual property infringement claims, complying with the new Federal Trade Commission guidelines as they relate to blogging,  and minimizing the risk of defamation and employment discrimination claims.  The presentation also provided some blogging best practices.
